Background
Ali Chaudhry brings over a decade of experience that began in law school, where he held legal internships at the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office, the Committee for Public Counsel Services, and the Labor Relations Department of the Boston Police Department.
After law school, Ali built a career in healthcare compliance and privacy. The work was advocacy by another name: protecting the privacy and healthcare rights of patients in front of the institutions that served them.
Why immigration law
Ali comes from a family that emigrated from Pakistan to the United States. He decided to transition his career to advocate for immigrants who need legal support, often during anxious moments in their lives. The firm was founded with that work in mind: careful filings, plain-language counsel, and a real conversation about what is realistic for each case.
"The clients I represent are usually working through the most consequential paperwork of their lives. They deserve a careful advocate who will read the file."

Approach to clients
The firm runs as a true solo practice. The attorney who reviews your case at consultation is the same attorney who prepares your filings and shows up at your hearings. There is no intake funnel, no rotating roster of associates, and no pressure tactic to push a retainer.
If your situation has a clear legal route, we will say so and explain it. If it is hard, or if the realistic answer is to wait, we will say that too. Honest counsel is the foundation of any case worth taking.
If your matter falls outside our practice area, we will point you to a trusted attorney in our referral network who handles that area of law.
